January 2022 - Energy Update

Hello everyone and Happy New Year from the New England Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers. Our Annual Energy Outlook Forum has been postponed to next year due to in person restrictions at various meeting locations. Having said that, we still want to share with our Chapter members vital energy related information for the new year.

With that in mind, this month’s meeting will be virtual and held on zoom at 5:00PM on Wednesday January 12, 2022.

The Annual Energy Up-date will be provided by Brendon Fong, Principle- Commodity Management Group – Constellation.

Brendon will provide the attendees with crucial information regarding both natural gas and electric pricing information, both current and future.

Please join us for an informative presentation, and as always, a great opportunity to gather with liked minded energy folks in an educational and business like atmosphere.

Speaker Bios

Brandon Fong has been with Constellation since 2007 specializing in New England gas and power markets as a member of the New England Pricing team for his first 7 years with the company. In 2014 he joined the Commodities Management Group where he helps educate and inform customers on the New England power and gas markets and manage their inherent risks in these markets.

Before Constellation, Brandon worked for 6 years in the Treasury department at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston where he traded fixed income securities and assisted in managing both the long-term debt portfolio as well as the short-term money market book.

Brandon holds an MBA from Suffolk University as well as a BS in Finance from Bentley University.
