Darnell Coleman, Manager - Renewable Development, Competitive Power Ventures
Darnell Coleman is a Boston native who graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has spent most of his career in the renewable energy industry, starting off in residential solar, and eventually working on utility- scale solar projects across the United States. He is now a Solar Project Development Manager at Competitive Power Ventures.
Mohammed Ibrahim, CEM, CEA - Transportation Electrification Engineer at Leidos
Mohammed Ibrahim received his Bachelor's in Electrical Power and Energy Engineering from Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Amman, Jordan, supplemented by additional studies at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey. He currently works as a Transportation Electrification Engineer at Leidos. Mr. Ibrahim's connection with AEE runs deep. In 2021, he was an AEE Energy and Sustainability Intern in Beirut, Lebanon. As a college student, he volunteered for the AEE Chapter at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, serving as Vice President, Secretary, and eventually, President.
Talia Mamayek, Associate Sustainability Consultant at WSP
Talia Mamayek obtained her Bachelor's in Architectural Engineering at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where she also minored in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. Ms. Mamayek is a Sustainability Consultant at Built Ecology WSP, where she works with clients to develop strategies for carbon benchmarking, renewable energy analysis, and Net Zero Carbon. She is committed to creating practical, impactful solutions to address the climate crisis by decarbonizing cities.
Joe Hatem Saba, Energy Engineer at Leidos
Joe Hatem Saba graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2023 with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently an Energy Advisor at Leidos, where he works with industrial and commercial facilities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island to increase energy efficiency, as well as model developed solutions. In his free time, Mr. Saba likes to play sports, socialize and read.
