Join us for a day of connection, creativity, and friendly competition in support of the AEE New England scholarship fund
AEE-NE is excited to host our Annual Fundraiser on Tuesday, June 23rd at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, MA. Proceeds raised will support the chapter's Scholarship Fund which provides regional undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in accredited colleges and universities with financial support as they pursue majors in or related to engineering, energy management, environmental engineering, and sustainability.
This year, we’re bringing together the community for a day that blends meaningful networking with hands-on fun. The morning kicks off with our Power Connections networking session - an opportunity to meet fellow energy professionals, exchange ideas, and spark new collaborations. After lunch, you’ll team up to build your own solar race car kit and put your design to the test in a friendly competition for bragging rights. The winning solar car team will receive a pair of tickets to the Red Sox - Yankees game at Fenway on Friday night June 26th!
Participants will also have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for a chance to win a variety of valuable prizes including $50 visa gift cards and complimentary registration to AEE-NE's Annual Energy Outlook in January 2027 and our Annual Joint Meeting with the ASHRAE Boston Chapter in March 2027.
Registration includes the solar car kit, commemorative rain jacket, and a meal package including coffee, lunch, and dinner. Whether you’re looking to expand your network, support future energy leaders, or enjoy a challenge with colleagues, this fundraiser delivers a full day of connection and creativity.
