CWEEL New England will be returning for our 5th year of volunteering with Community Harvest Project in North Grafton, MA. We will spend the morning out in the fresh air and getting our hands dirty helping with farm chores. Community Harvest Project is a volunteer organization that grows fresh fruit and vegetables for hunger relief. Learn more at https://community-harvest.org/

All activities take place outside, typically rain or shine. Wear seasonally appropriate clothing that you won’t mind getting dirty, closed toe shoes, and a hat. Don't forget sunscreen, bug spray, and a refillable water bottle.

Please bring your lunch. We’ll enjoy a picnic together at conclusion of our volunteer shift before heading home from the farm.

Note: Community Harvest Project requires each participant to complete a waiver, the CWEEL team will send the link to all registered participants prior to the event. Registration closes at 9pm on Tuesday September 8th, 2026. All are welcome and neither AEE-NE nor CWEEL membership is required to attend.

The Council on Women in Energy & Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) supports the role of women in the energy and environmental industries. CWEEL provides career development for professional women aspiring to leadership roles and mentorship for women pursuing technical education and careers in the energy and environmental fields.
